There is also an injection for alprostadil administration known as Caverject. The active ingredient contained in Caverject is called alprostadil, which is a type of medicine called a prostaglandin. CAVERJECT contains the active ingredient alprostadil, which belongs to a class of medicines known as prostagladins.

Description of Caverject

Caverject is available as single-dose vials that contain 20 mg of alprostadil.
